This update of the Metastock software comes with many out-of-the box trading solutions made reliable and easy to use. MetaStock is also flexible enough that you can customize the available pre-made solutions to your particular trading style. The software is suitable for those who trade anything from stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and futures to commodities, forex, and indices. According to the Metastock, the have 84% of their customers reporting that they have been successful using the MetaStock software to their purposes. There are several types of Metastock software available for you to consider. One is the end-of-day version, which is best suitable for traders that do not depend on their trades for the intraday data. Many of these traders are likely to be swing traders or trend traders. The other major software version that you might consider is the Real Time Metastock. That version of the software is geared towards real-time traders who primarily use intra-day data to make trading decisions and transact in real-time throughout the trading day. If you only trade the forex, Metastock has a version called MetaStock Pro FX, which is the Foreign Exchange focused software product from Equis. The product is like the basic Real Time MetaStock software (also called Metastock Pro), but has a slightly reduced feature set and price. Also, the symbol database for that version of the software only has the forex pairs and the software does not include any volume indicators and does not come with a historical data CD.
