Mazo Currency Exchange

There are currently no Mazo currency exchange locations available, and your better bet is to go to change currency at either Los Llanos de Aridane or Santa Cruz de la Palma.

You are likely to enter the island via La Palma airport, which has three banking operations available, from BBVA, Deutsche Bank, and Caja Canarias, according to the airport's website. And according to other sources, there is a currency exchange operation at the airport.

The airport is located 8 kilometres outside Santa Cruz de la Palma, the main population center in the island.

Also, the city of Santa Cruz de la Palma is about 18,3 kms from Mazo, according to Google Maps:

The distance between Los Llanos de Aridane and Mazo is longer, some 36,7 km using the Southern route.

Keep in mind that some of the hotels in the island offer bureau de change services, such as Hôtel Trocadero Plaza in Los Llanos de Aridane, but at much worse rates than 'real' currency exchanges.
