Brokerage Forex Trading Training

Brokerage forex trading training is usually aimed at individuals that are interested in trading with the company’s own platform.

Therefore, in learning with the brokerage’s educational classes, you’ll get the basics of trading plus a comprehensive look at the capabilities of their trading platform.

Naturally, you learn a lot about the trading platform by opening a demo account and using the platform with the demo account. However, many of the platforms come with limited manuals, and it might be up to you to learn all the details of the platform, if you don’t enroll into one of the educational classes the brokerage offers.

Also, keep in mind that many brokerages use same trading platforms and not their proprietary ones, so learning one platform may enable you to trade on more than one brokerage’s platform.

Brokerage Forex Trading Training – Providers

As many of the new traders that enter forex trading have not had any previous experience with the market or the brokerage’s platform, it has become commonplace to offer trading training to clients.

However, many of the brokerages direct their clients to third party educators, which may be a good solution, if the third party uses the brokerage’s trading platform in education.

In many cases, the best education is given by the brokerage people themselves, as they know the feedback give and the problems their clients have had in the past. This way, you’ll get a jumpstart in trading by learning the markets and how to use the trading platform in the most efficient possible way.

As an exemplary list, at least the following brokerages offer forex trading training:

  • Deal4Free/CMCforex
  • CurrencyConnect
  • FXCM (Forex Capital Markets)
  • Forex Millenium
  • Gain Capital
  • HotSpotFX
  • Phi Capital Management
  • 21st Century Forex

Many of the above companies offer trading jointly with third party educators. If that is the case, you should ask for any rebates available from your brokerage before signing up to the course.
